Your Gift Is Making An Impact
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Absolutely. Because we are an IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) organization, your generosity is recognized by the IRS. After you donate, we will provide a contemporaneous written acknowledgment (receipt) for your records.
Your gift not only provides critical training and support for caregivers in [City/Region] but may also lower your taxable income. Whether you itemize or take the standard deduction, current 2026 tax rules offer various incentives for supporters like you.
-
Integrity in Every Transaction When you donate to Wings of Shelter Int’l Inc., you aren't just giving money; you are investing in a safer community. Your funds directly support the development of cutting-edge, trauma-informed training that equips caregivers to handle the complexities of human trafficking and addiction. We pride ourselves on low overhead, ensuring that the vast majority of your contribution goes directly to the front lines of education and advocacy.
-
Absolutely. Wings is no longer just building a home; we are building a Global Standard of Care.
As we pivot to our strategic training and certification platform, our need for dedicated, high-level volunteers has never been greater. We are seeking individuals who want to help us equip government agencies, medical teams, and organizations worldwide with the tools to properly care for survivors of human trafficking.
Whether you are a professional looking to lend your expertise or an advocate ready to spread the word, there is a place for you in this movement.
1. Join Our Volunteer Leadership Team
We have identified 12 Strategic Leadership Positions designed to manage the day-to-day operations of our training platform. We are currently seeking:
Volunteer Coordinator: Help us build and manage our growing network of global advocates.
Grant & Research Specialists: Assist our development team in securing the funding necessary to keep our curriculum evidence-based and accessible.
Industry Liaisons: Use your background in the Medical, Educational, or Law Enforcement fields to help us implement specific training tracks within those sectors.
Certification Ambassadors: Help us audit and support organizations as they strive to meet our "Golden Standard of Care."
2. Become a "Voice for the Vision" (Advocacy)
Our CEO serves as our primary Keynote Speaker, but we need a "Ground Crew" of advocates to represent the platform at local events, conferences, and through digital media. You can help us by:
Sharing our training modules with local schools and hospitals.
Hosting "Awareness to Action" meetings in your community.
Managing digital outreach to connect us with organizations in need of certification.
3. Professional Pro-Bono Support
If you have a background in Instructional Design, IT/Web Development, Legal Compliance, or Data Analytics, your skills are vital to the maintenance of our digital training platform. You can help us ensure that the $115,000+ in curriculum development reaches the hands of those who need it most.
4. Invest in the Mission (Donors & Partners)
Because our curriculum is rooted in the Neuro-Relational Model and scientific best practices, the "sunk costs" for development are significant. Your financial support allows us to:
Subsidize training for smaller non-profits.
Keep our digital platform updated with 2025–2026 academic research.
Expand our reach to government agencies that oversee the rescue of victims.
-
Yes, but our needs have changed as we scale our impact.
As we pivot from operating individual safe homes to providing a Global Training and Certification Platform, our "in-kind" needs have shifted from physical household goods to professional expertise and digital infrastructure. By donating your professional services, you are helping us maintain the "Golden Standard of Care" and ensuring that our curriculum—valued at over $115,000 in development—reaches the medical teams, educators, and government agencies that need it most.
We are currently seeking in-kind support in the following Strategic Areas of Need:
Professional Services:
Legal & Compliance: Assistance with intellectual property, licensing agreements for our training modules, and non-profit governance.
Grant Writing & Research: Experts to help us petition for government (DOJ/HHS) and private foundation funding.
Marketing & PR: Help in amplifying the CEO’s voice as a Keynote Speaker and scaling our reach to global organizations.
Technology & Digital Infrastructure:
Learning Management System (LMS) Support: Pro-bono IT or web development to optimize our digital training platform.
Video Production: Professional editing or filming to keep our 24 training modules updated with the latest 2025–2026 research.
Cybersecurity: Services to ensure the privacy of our "Security Architecture" and digital record-keeping.
Corporate Partnerships:
Sponsorship of Training Tracks: Corporations can "sponsor" the certification of a specific medical team or school district, covering their platform access fees as an in-kind gift to that community.
What about physical goods? Because we are focusing on building the capacity of other organizations rather than operating our own residential facilities, we no longer maintain a "needs list" for furniture, clothing, or household items. If you have physical goods to donate, we encourage you to gift them to our Certified Partner Organizations who are on the front lines of residential care.
-
You should bridge the emotional legacy of the gift with the long-term impact of your new strategic mission. By donating in honor of someone, the donor is helping to "cement" a legacy into the foundation of a global movement.
Can I donate in honor or in memory of someone?
Yes. Tributes are a powerful way to ensure a loved one’s legacy lives on through the restoration of others.
When you make a gift in honor or in memory of someone, you are doing more than just giving a one-time donation; you are investing in the "Golden Standard of Care" that will protect and restore survivors for generations to come.
As we pivot to our Global Training and Certification Platform, your tribute gift helps us "build the blueprint" for a world where every rescued victim has access to a qualified, trauma-informed caregiver.
Ways Your Tribute Gift Makes an Impact:
Legacy Scholarships: Provide a "Certification Scholarship" in a loved one’s name, allowing a smaller non-profit or a rural medical team to access our $115,000 curriculum for free.
The Founder’s Circle: Tribute gifts can be designated toward the ongoing research and development of our Neuro-Relational Model, ensuring that the latest 2025–2026 somatic healing practices reach those on the front lines.
Keynote Sponsorship: Honor someone by sponsoring the CEO’s advocacy travel and keynote engagements, donate airline miles, allowing the vision of restoration to reach new audiences and government agencies.
